1. The short answer
Choose RetreatsOS if you want one place that publishes your retreat page, takes registrations and collects payments through Stripe, and you also run weekly classes. Choose Amoenia if you already take bookings another way and want your budget, break-even, deposits and profit right, at a lower price and in English, French, Spanish or German.
They are not mutually exclusive. Amoenia has no booking page and never touches your guests' money, so it can sit next to any booking tool, including RetreatsOS.

3. Where RetreatsOS is stronger
- It runs the sale. A shareable retreat page, online registration and payment collection mean guests can book and pay without you sending links or chasing transfers.
- It manages people. A roster with dietary needs and paperwork, a CRM, email blasts and automations are part of the paid plan.
- It covers more of your business. If you also teach weekly classes, RetreatsOS handles those too.
- Its simulator models taxes. It includes VAT or sales tax and income tax, and shows what ends up in your pocket.
4. Where Amoenia is stronger
- The numbers follow your real bookings. Each guest you record, with their own price and their payments, updates the break-even, the profit now and the money still owed.
- It warns you before you commit. Amoenia tests every plan at two-thirds full and tells you the price that would hold, before you sign a venue contract.
- It works with how you already sell. Bank transfer, a payment link, your own website or a booking platform: Amoenia does not need your guests to change anything.
- It speaks your language. The app and its guides exist in English, French, Spanish and German.
- It costs less. Pro is 19 € a month or 119 € a year, and the free plan gives your first retreat every feature, with no time limit.
5. Pricing
Prices as published on 21 October 2026. RetreatsOS lists prices in US dollars; Amoenia in euros, with local prices in the United States and Canada.
| Free | Monthly | Yearly | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amoenia | 1 retreat, every feature | 19 € (excl. VAT) | 119 € (excl. VAT) |
| RetreatsOS | 1 active retreat, some tools locked | $55 | $468 ($39 a month) |
Neither lists a commission on bookings. If you collect payments through RetreatsOS, Stripe's own processing fees apply; with Amoenia, the fees are whatever your current payment method charges, and you can enter them in the budget.
6. Which one to choose
Ask yourself
Do guests struggle to book and pay you today? Then a booking tool such as RetreatsOS solves your biggest problem.
Is booking already fine, but you are never sure a retreat will make money? Then Amoenia is the cheaper, more focused answer.
If you are still deciding whether a retreat is worth running at all, start with the numbers. The free break-even calculator and pricing calculator need no account.
7. Common questions
What is the main difference between Amoenia and RetreatsOS?
RetreatsOS is an all-in-one platform: a public retreat page, online registration, payment collection through Stripe, a CRM and tools for weekly classes. Amoenia is a planning and money tool: budget, live break-even, guests, deposits and payments across your retreats. Amoenia does not take bookings or payments from guests.
Do both have a free plan?
Yes. Both free plans cover one retreat. RetreatsOS's free plan includes one active retreat with a public page and unlimited leads, but locks payment collection, exports and automations. Amoenia's free plan covers one retreat with every feature; the full dashboard across retreats needs Pro.
Which is cheaper?
On published prices, Amoenia Pro costs 19 € a month or 119 € a year, excluding VAT. RetreatsOS costs $55 a month, or $468 a year. RetreatsOS includes bookings and payment collection, which Amoenia does not do.
Can I use Amoenia alongside a booking tool?
Yes. Amoenia is built to sit next to however you already take bookings, whether that is a website form, a payment link, bank transfers or a booking platform. You record each booking and payment in Amoenia, and it keeps the break-even, the deposits owed and the profit up to date.
